Here is what I love about these modalities.
Reiki has people feel calm so they’re able to look more within , they feel good. I also appreciate that it is not from me but rather between the universe and the person. The energy flow feels so strong and palpable. It tends to make the person receiving it feel something. I think we are all looking to feel these kinds of energies - peace, healing, calm.
Reflexology works on all of the body’s organs and helps people for different things. It's similar to acupuncture in that it helps with all kinds of ailments. Also, our feet endure a lot, basically taking our whole body’s weight and often while wearing bad shoes. When I give clients this deep massage, they feel really relaxed and sleep better in addition to getting ailments treated.
Shiatsu I love because I love receiving it. It’s a very deep massage and it really helps many of the problems people experience. I know it’s effective. It's also done over clothes always so people can feel more comfortable. Though it's a very deep massage, it can be lighter. It's a beautiful healing art.
