Did You Know? Acupuncture Can Involve More Than Just Needles

Good news for those of us who 'hate' needles. 😊

You may know acupuncture as being the insertion of fine needles in the body along various points (called meridians).

This is true and also doesn't explain the whole story.

When I create an acupuncture protocol for a client, it often includes far more than just acupuncture.

Drawing upon my extensive experience and training, we may also opt to bring in therapies such as:

  • cupping

  • scraping

  • medical massage (gua sha or shiatsu)

  • auricular points

  • moxibustion

  • hypnotherapy

  • reiki

I believe, and have witnessed how, customizing a treatment plan that includes a variety of modalities can bring about resolution and healing on a deeper level and often much quicker.

For example, bringing in reiki or addressing auricular points are both calming and can be good for addressing issues of addiction.

Moxibustion can help boost energy. Gua sha is helpful in treating concussion. And all are useful in addressing pain, digestive issues, stress, and more.

So I invite you to consider a full-spectrum approach when it comes to addressing your health and any specific issues you may dealing with.

What health challenges are you dealing with that you would like to address? Please feel free to connect with me to see how these modalities can help you.
